Stonyhurst College, Hodder Bathing Place

A photo by the great Victorian photographer Roger Fenton of a 'bathing place' on the River Hodder used by Stonyhurst boys. Fenton was a pioneer English photographer born at Crimble Hall, Heywood in Lancashire, famous for his work photographing the Royal Family,and recording the Crimean War.
