Craig Celynin is sitauated on the west side of the Conwy Valley in North Wales. There is considerable physical evidence of glaciation in the area during the Ice Age. The photo shows glacial striae or scratch marks produced as the ice passed over the rocks, trapped debris within the ice abrading the surface creates the tell-take scratches.
