HRS 778 Llan Celynin section through meltwater channel NE
Craig Celynin is sitauated on the west side of the Conwy Valley in North Wales. There is considerable physical evidence of glaciation in the area during the Ice Age. The photo shows a small valley deepened originally by a valley glacier but later forming part of a meltwater channel. The outline cross-sectional shape is well illustrated by the stone wall.
