HRS 584 Penmon Abbey Dovecote 1990s

Penmon Point and the channel between the mainland and Puffin Island (Ynys seriol) is extremely dangerous and a lighthouse was built to save lives. The area is important in Welsh history being associated with an early semaphore signalling system for shipping, as well as the nearby Abbey.
